SUMMARY:Noticing Sampler Workshop with artist Sera Waters
DESCRIPTION:Join Sera Waters for a hands on workshop in the slow act of stitching. \nAs part of Stability Grace Endurance: Hand Crafted in Early Barossa exhibition currently on display at the Barossa Regional Gallery you are invited to reawaken your own history and styles for contemporary purposes through needle and thread. \nIn this session of pure enjoyment\, reflection and relaxation you will learn techniques for beginning to stitch your own Noticing Sampler. \nWaters says\, “I believe there is a power to reharness and record\, in the slow acts of stitching\, daily lives and events (particularly from women’s lives) which have historically been undervalued or under-documented.” \nThis workshop is for all levels\, from beginner to advanced.
