DESCRIPTION:This three part series of acrylic painting workshops is designed for beginners and will provide a safe\, supportive and immersive learning journey to develop skills\, knowledge and most importantly confidence\, creating your own artwork.   \n You will be given a starter kit to use during the workshop and take home with you.  \n Angela will provide reference images and materials for guidance and inspiration. You are also encouraged to bring personal photographs as reference images\, and further information will be provided prior to the workshop.  \n What to bring: Sketchbook and any materials of your own that you’d like to use; snacks and water. DESCRIPTION:The Barossa Regional Gallery\, together with The Barossa Council\, is pleased to present: \nConversations with my Father\nby Alan Todd \nWhen artist Alan Todd’s father died aged 99\, they had lived on opposite sides of the world for fifty years. The only conversations they’d had were by phone and often limited to only a few sentences.   \nMost of Todd’s life as an artist was unknown to his father. Art was never mentioned.  \nThis exhibition is a collection of paintings deriving from moments in Todd’s life over a year. The conversations they never had.  \nTo be opened on\n9 February 2024\nat 5:30PM  \nat the Barossa Regional Gallery\n3 Basedow Road\, Tanunda 5352  \nAll welcome. Free event.

It is particularly beneficial for those with sensory sensitivities\, individuals experiencing anxiety\, or anyone seeking a peaceful retreat during an event. The sensory room incorporates key features to cater to diverse needs and preferences. \nKey features of the sensory room include: \n🌿 Calming Atmosphere \nThe sensory room has a peaceful ambience\, featuring soft lighting/sensory lamp\, comfortable seating\, and gentle sounds that promote relaxation. \n🌿 Interactive Elements \nExplore a range of interactive sensory equipment\, including tactile activities\, mindful mandalas\, and discovery tubs. \nThe Barossa Library team will be offering structured reading times at 10.00am\, 11.00am\, 1.00pm and 2.00pm. \n🌿 Comfort and Privacy \nWe understand the importance of privacy\, with the room being equipped with tee pees for those who prefer a more secluded experience. \nWe warmly welcome all visitors to experience the sensory room.
