DESCRIPTION:Artists of the Barossa Vintage Festival Art Collection \nIn celebration of 20 years of the Barossa Regional Gallery\, we are pleased to present Continuum. \nFeaturing artists of the Barossa Vintage Festival Art Collection\, this exhibition highlights the diversity of artistic styles\, and each artist’s own creative journey by showcasing an acquired Collection artwork alongside a newer work by these artists.\nThe Collection\, the artworks acquired from the Vintage Festival Art Prize Exhibition\, tells stories of place and time\, while the loaned works allow us to see the evolution of the artist and their style over time. \nArtists featured will include: Suzann Broad\, Alfred Engel\, Warren Farley\, Dianne Longely\, Allyson Parsons\, Rod Schubert\, Ben Shearer\, Helen Stacey\, Lise Temple\, Imants Tillers\, Gishka Van Ree and Marnie Wark.

The Organ Historical Trust acquired the instrument in 1994 and with the cooperation of local organisations the Tanunda Soldiers’ Memorial Hall became its permanent home in 1997.\nSince then\, the Hill and Son Grand Organ has been fully restored both internally and externally. \nWeekly Tours – A sound taste…..\nHear the 1877 Grand Organ being played\nView the inner workings\nLearn how a community of devoted volunteers restored this jewel of an instrument.\nWhen: Every Wednesday @ 11.30am-12:30pm\nCost: $5 donation to the on-going maintenance of the Organ\nA unique experience!

This inclusive environment is open to people of all ages\, aiming to enhance the overall enjoyment and comfort of visitors. It is particularly beneficial for those with sensory sensitivities\, individuals experiencing anxiety\, or anyone seeking a peaceful retreat during an event. The sensory room incorporates key features to cater to diverse needs and preferences. \nKey features of the sensory room include: \n🌿 Calming Atmosphere \nThe sensory room has a peaceful ambience\, featuring soft lighting/sensory lamp\, comfortable seating\, and gentle sounds that promote relaxation. \n🌿 Interactive Elements \nExplore a range of interactive sensory equipment\, including tactile activities\, mindful mandalas\, and discovery tubs. \nThe Barossa Library team will be offering structured reading times at 10.00am\, 11.00am\, 1.00pm and 2.00pm. \n🌿 Comfort and Privacy \nWe understand the importance of privacy\, with the room being equipped with tee pees for those who prefer a more secluded experience. \nWe warmly welcome all visitors to experience the sensory room.
