Tanunda Soldiers’ Memorial Hall | WW1 Roll of Honour
The Tanunda WW1 Soldiers Roll of Honour Project looks beyond a lists of names to create a portrait of our community, prompting us to reflect on how service has shaped families, work and place.
The project links to The Barossa Council's ANZAC Day Soldiers projection. Together, these initiatives share an invitation for families to contribute information, photographs, and objects (on loan) for lasting community memory.
This work contributes to a long term project to create a publicly accessible and interpretive record of the Tanunda WW1 Roll of Honour.
Behind each name is a life, a family, a community and a story that deserves to be remembered and shared.
We are inviting the community to contribute additional information about those listed on the Tanunda WW1 Roll of Honour. This may include photographs, letters, documents, family histories, or personal insights passed down through generations.
Your contribution will help to deepen our understanding of these individuals and support the development of future exhibitions, research and interpretive displays at the Barossa Regional Gallery and Barossa Creative Industries Centre, at home with the Tanunda Soldiers’ Memorial Hall.
All material is handled with care, and clear permissions and consent processes are in place to guide how contributions may be used.
If you have something to share, we would value your participation.
