“I am thrilled to accept the Barossa Women’s Artist Residency for 2025. It has arrived at an opportune time for me, whilst I expand my creative practice in music across an immersive visual arts lens into sonic installation. I’m very much looking forward to working with the community in the Barossa Valley through my current work in development ‘The Piano: Hook, Line & Tinker’, which honours treasured family heirlooms and the many musical stories they embrace.” shared Rae.

This Residency will allow Rae to create new work in the Barossa during October and November of this year. As part of her residency, Rae will also participate in a series of public programs within the region.

Thank you to our donors for making this Residency possible again in its third year.

Please join us in congratulating Rae, and stay tuned for more news regarding her Residency.
