Funding flows to Creative Industries Centre

We’re thrilled to receive both Commonwealth and State funding this week to deliver the vision for a Barossa Creative Industries Centre, which has been a generation in the making.

It means we can redevelop the Barossa Regional Gallery at Tanunda into a landmark $13.92 million cultural hub and creative industries precinct, which will stand alongside other iconic, nationally recognised centres.

In amazing news for our community, we have received $6,961,000 for the Centre under the Albanese Commonwealth Government’s Growing Regions Program, as well as $500,000 to develop outdoor areas under the Malinauskas State Government’s Open Space grant program.

In a win-win, the Centre will not only drive tourism and the local economy, it will also support social inclusion, education and skills development, contributing to community wellbeing.

Thank you to everyone who has been on this journey with us, including our vibrant creative industries community, passionate volunteers and local arts advocates.
