Learn about local native plants (or plants brought from home) while drawing with artist Louise Flaherty at the Barossa Regional Gallery.

Create a large-scale collaborative guided drawing on black paper. Then be guided to create your own postcard sized artwork of a local plant which is yours to take home courtesy of Barossa Bushgardens.
This botanical drawing workshop will involve drawing in reverse – white and light colours onto black.
About Louise Flaherty
Louise Flaherty is an artist and arts worker based on Kaurna land Adelaide with First Class Honours in Visual Arts from School of Art, UniSA. Informed by quiet reflection on the natural environment with a focus on research of native flora communities of South Australia. Louise is a socially engaged artist and her current practice spans drawing, installation and participatory practice with a focus on collaborative community driven projects.
